Palio Office Park B, the second office building of the project in Gdańsk, in Młodym Mieście, received the BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level. Certification of office buildings in the international system verifying their pro-environmental and pro-health character is permanently included in the activities of Cavatina Holding.
Cavatina Holding, the largest Polish office developer, has just obtained a BREEAM certificate for the second Palio Office Park building. The modern multi-functional complex is the developer’s first investment in the Tri-City. As many as 8 buildings will be built in the Gdańsk Shipyard, with a total of almost 90,000 sqm surface. Building B provides 7,700 sqm GLA of functional, modern, high-standard space. As part of the complex, tenants already use building A with an area of 16,600 sqm GLA.
Palio Office Park B received the highest mark in the certification process for solutions in the field of water management. It was also highly rated for energy efficiency, materials used and providing healthy conditions conducive to well-being.
The Excellent rating obtained in the BREEAM certification process for the Palio Office Park B building is the result of our consistent policy applied in the design and implementation of each of Cavatina Holding’s investments. We constantly verify new solutions and possibilities to constantly improve the quality of the offered facilities. In the case of the Palio complex, we create a new quality for the revitalized areas of the Gdańsk Shipyard, respecting the history and previous function of this place. Cavatina’s goal is to create modern spaces for work and relaxation in the post-shipyard areas, which will be an impulse to further change the function of this area. The concept of this complex is, on the one hand, the skillful integration of modern architecture with historic buildings, but also a big step forward for the developing Young City.
When designing the complex, the team of architects Cavatina Holding took into account the strict guidelines as to the possibility of revitalizing this district. The developer is actively involved in creating the Young City, remembering the past anew. Cavatina approaches each project very individually, fully respecting local conditions and taking care of the unique character of architecture that corresponds well with the surroundings.
In addition to office space, the Palio Office Park will include, among others, gastronomy, shops and recreational areas. The metamorphosis of the place is favored by its perfect location. The complex is located at ul. Jana z Kolna – one of the main arteries of Gdańsk. It has direct access to the tram line and SKM, which provides users with efficient communication with every district of the city and the entire Tri-City. As part of the project, an almost kilometer-long section of ul. Painters. It is here that separate zones of various types of services and activities will be created, open to residents.
In addition to the BREEAM certification, in the face of the pandemic, Cavatina decided to provide tenants and users of its facilities with a sense of complete security by implementing solutions in its office projects that meet the requirements of the latest International Building Institute standard – WELL Health-Safety Rating. This certificate is awarded to office spaces that minimize the risk of disease transmission, as well as create safe and healthy workplaces.
