The Lazarski University is launching a new specialization in the field of Management in the 2022/2023 academic year. FinTech (Financial Management in the Digital Age) at the Faculty of Economics and Management is part of the three-year first-cycle studies, both full-time and part-time, the university said.
The studies are a proposal for people who want to deal with financial markets in practice. Thanks to cooperation with experienced business practitioners, the program will allow them to acquire unique knowledge in the FinTech area.
“Our mission is to create a place that is distinguished by the practical dimension of education, its international character and work ethos. It is therefore natural that we considered FinTechs as an important branch of the market and in cooperation with specialists in this field we decided to introduce a new field of study,” said the Dean of the Faculty Of Economics and Management at the Lazarski University Martin Dahl.
Currently, over 300 FinTechs with over 25 million users operate in our country. The innovativeness of this sector is the merit of Polish banks, which were not as burdened with old IT systems as the entities in the West and were digitized faster, and new technological financial entities that make their debut on the market.
Lazarski University in Warsaw was founded in 1993. The aim of the University is to create a student-oriented multicultural international school, educating politicians, diplomats, lawyers, administrators, economists, financiers and businessmen. The university offers studies in six fields.
