The TeraPlast Group received the financing agreement through the state aid scheme for an investment of EUR 11.2 million in a new stretch film production unit. The funding provides for a state support of 50 percent of the total eligible project costs. Through this facility, the beneficiary undertakes to contribute within 5 years after the completion of the investment to the consolidated general budget with an amount at least equal to that of the State aid received.
The construction of the new factory will start this year in the industrial park from Sărățel. At maturity, the investment will generate a turnover of EUR 28 million and an EBITDA of EUR 4 million.
In the last 3 years, the TeraPlast Group has made investments of EUR 44.4 million co-financed by the state aid scheme.
