The construction materials manufacturer TeraPlast reported for the first three months of 2022 a net profit of RON 6.8 million, a considerable decrease compared to Q1 / 2021.
The decrease compared to the record profit in Q1 / 2021 was generated by a relative reduction of the margin in the Installations segment and by a negative result of the flexible packaging division. This was partially offset by accelerated sales growth, close to the absolute quarterly record of Q3 / 2021.
Despite the decrease in profit compared to Q1 / 2021, the group expects to achieve the approved budget for the entire year 2022.
