Tesla Hloubětín – a new stage of the best-selling apartments in Prague

Thanks to very favorable prices, the new Tesla Hloubětín residential district has become the best-selling project with new apartments in Prague immediately after its launch. More than half of the flats in the first two stages have already been sold, hence, Central Group is launching a new stage with more than a hundred flats on April 1.

Less than 3,000 new flats are currently available for purchase on the Prague residential market. More than a fifth of them are from the largest Czech residential builder Central Group. The demand for new flats has been growing significantly again in recent weeks. “Recently, part of the clients taking out mortgages, which are now more expensive, have decreased. But on the other hand, the number of people who save their savings when buying an apartment is growing because they are afraid of their devaluation. The new apartment is a safe investment and protection against inflation,” says Dušan Kunovský, founder and head of Central Group.

Inflation reached 11.1% in February and is the highest in a quarter of a century. In savings accounts, people lose money quickly, with interest rates hovering around 3%, well below inflation. In addition, the example of the fallen Sberbank showed that money is not completely safe in the banks. In contrast, the value of new dwellings has been increasing by an average of 15% per year since 2015.

The new residential area is being created in a rapidly developing locality of Prague 9 near Kejřov Park and the Rokytka River, at tram stops and close to metro B – Hloubětín and Českomoravská.

“In Tesla Hloubětín, we tried to preserve the industrial heritage of the locality, while creating a modern residential area with rich civic amenities, greenery and valuable public space for meeting people. We are very pleased with the huge interest that the project has aroused even in this difficult time. Within a quarter of a year since the start of sales, more than half of the flats have sold out here, making it the best-selling project with new flats in Prague,” adds Kunovský.

In the third stage, another 114 flats are for sale. There are both smaller apartments, which are an ideal choice for singles or as a profitable investment, as well as large family apartments with spacious terraces and views of Prague. All practically designed apartments in optimized layouts have a modern ventilation system with heat recovery for healthy and quiet living. The top floors and other selected units have air conditioning and window blinds. Most apartments have a balcony, loggia, terrace or front garden, underground parking and cellar. The prices of flats in the second stage start at CZK 4.5 million.
