Consumer inflation amounted to 10.9% on an annual basis in March 2022, according to a flash estimate, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported. Compared to the previous month, the prices of consumer goods and services rose by 3.2% in March, the Central Statistical Office also reported.

The prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 9.2% y / y, energy carriers – by 23.9% y / y, fuel for private means of transport increased by 33.5% y / y, CSO announced.

In monthly terms, the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 2.2% MoM, energy carriers increased by 4.4%, while fuel for private means of transport increased by 28% MoM, it was also announced.

The market consensus was 10.1% YoY.
