Today is the deadline for applying for a compensation bonus for the second bonus period, ie January, for entrepreneurs and small businesses. Subsequently, the claim expires by law. The financial report pointed this out. Entrepreneurs can apply for up to CZK 40,000 in the first period from November 22, 2021 to December 31, 2021 and in the second period, which is January this year. Bonus applications for the first period could be submitted until March 1.
Self-employed persons, partners of s.r.o. and contract workers, whose revenues, primarily as a result of the state’s covid measures, fell by at least 30 percent compared to the comparative period. This is set as three consecutive calendar months in the relevant period from 1 June to 31 October 2021. It is possible to apply for up to CZK 1,000 per day, with the exception of contract staff, who are entitled to up to CZK 500 per day.
The Financial Administration has so far paid 136,927 applications for a new compensation bonus for this year for about four billion crowns, a total of 137,118 applications. During the first period, the administration paid out 71,062 bonus claims out of the total number of applications. It currently registers 65,946 applications from the second period and paid out 65,865 for about CZK 1.7 billion.
During the pandemic, which began in the spring of 2020, the financial administration received approximately 2.7 million applications under previous compensation bonuses, on the basis of which it paid compensation for approximately CZK 44 billion.
