The Mitiska real estate group, controlled by the Belgian millionaire Luc Geuten, is analyzing the possibility of selling the properties accumulated on the Romanian market, which represents about 16 percent of its European portfolio, according to sources from the local real estate market. Thus, it is possible that Mitiska will make an exit, if the requested price is offered, but the expectations of the group are quite high.
“We are constantly evaluating our strategic options, but we do not comment on market speculations regarding specific transactions … We have built a Romanian portfolio comprising 24 commercial parks with a gross leasable area of 132,000 sqm. Our strategy is to get out of investing after the end of our development program, so we are constantly in talks with investors from all over our European markets who may be interested in purchasing our retail projects ” said Tomas Cifra, Managing Director of CEE, Mitiska REIM.
