JRD Development, a member of the JRD Group, has completed the rough construction of the Bohdalec Quartet energy-saving project. The residential area includes 183 apartments with a healthy indoor environment, 5 commercial spaces and a ground floor with a playground and designer furniture. Commissioning of the project, on which the developer is cooperating with the RSJ investment group, is planned for the beginning of 2023.
The general contractor – the association of Unistav Construction and Ridera Stavební – is now engaged in the installation of windows with insulating triple glazing and the installation of internal wiring. “We have seen great interest in the Bohdalec Quartet: it is currently 85% sold out. It offers future residents not only well-thought-out architecture and healthy flats in a wide range of layouts, but also very economical operation, which is very important in today’s uncertain times, when it is not possible to estimate the growth rate of energy prices. These features of the project lend modern technologies, high-quality insulation materials and sophisticated thermal bridge solutions,” comments Pavel Krumpár, JRD’s sales director.
“In addition, the new residential complex offers quiet living with leisure activities, as it is located near the Bohdalec Forest Park or the Hamer Pond with a sports center,” adds Lukáš Musil, a member of the Board of Directors of RSJ Investments.
The Bohdalec Quartet is being build near the birthplace of violin virtuoso Jan Kubelík, which inspired the design of its architectural details: the five separate entrances will also bear the classical musical symbols for violin, viola, cello, double bass and chord. The energy-passive building will create 183 apartments, mostly complemented by a front garden, a balcony or terrace overlooking a green courtyard planted with mature trees, and 5 commercial spaces for shops or services. A significant part of the project will be a ground floor with a playground, where the developer plans to install, for example, designer furniture or elements for cyclists.
