Giuseppe Cunetta is new CMO of Engel & Völkers Germany

On 7 March Giuseppe Cunetta took up his new post as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Engel & Völkers. “The appointment of Giuseppe Cunetta sees Engel & Völkers gain an expert and highly experienced executive in the field of Digital Marketing. In his new role he will assume the overall responsibility for all the Branding and Marketing activities. Driving innovation in the real estate industry has always been our aim. We have now found the ideal partner to continue this drive,” says Sven Odia, Global CEO of Engel & Völkers.

Born in Italy, Giuseppe Cunetta can look back on an esteemed career in Marketing, Digital and eCommerce stretching back more than 20 years. Over the course of this career, he has been the driving force behind the digital transformation of several global brands. Posts in recent years have included Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Digital Officer at the MediaMarkt Saturn Retail Group. Cunetta was responsible in this role for a division with more than 800 employees based in 13 European countries and more than 7 billion euros in eCommerce sales. Prior to this, he held managerial positions both in Europe and the US, including at Ferrari, Benetton and Technogym. Cunetta holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Salerno, as well as an MBA from the LUISS Business School of Management in Rome.
