Dom Development recorded PLN 327.13 million of consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company in 2021 against PLN 302.24 million of profit a year earlier, the company said in its report.
The operating profit was PLN 413.05 million vs. PLN 386.27 million profit a year earlier.
Consolidated sales revenues amounted to PLN 1,897.49 million in 2021 compared to PLN 1,815.01 million a year earlier.
“In 2021, the Dom Development capital group entered a new level of activity. We consistently implemented the margin maximization strategy, at the same time achieving a record sales volume. As a result, we increased the sales volume to 4,066 units, i.e. by 8% compared to 2020, and its the value increased by as much as 21% – to the level of over PLN 2.5 billion We dominate the market of apartments of the highest quality, which is confirmed by the average value of transactions in the group at the level – in 2021 it increased to PLN 667 thousand. record-breaking – as at December 31, 2021, we had 5,930 units under construction. All our projects were progressing according to the plan and with very satisfactory margins, despite the strong pressure to increase costs. This is mainly due to the general contractors belonging to the Dom Development SA Capital Group,” President Jarosław Szanajca wrote in the letter attached to the annual report.
As he indicated, the record scale of operations was accompanied by record financial results.
“Last year, we handed over 3,332 units to clients, recognizing PLN 1,897 million in sales revenues. We are consistently and successfully implementing the strategy of maximizing the margin, which increases year by year. Sales profitability in 2021 was as high as 33%. As a result, we generated a record profit net – PLN 325 million. This record is all the more pleasing because we achieved it while increasing the potential of future results to an unprecedented level,” added the president.
On a standalone basis, the net profit in 2021 was PLN 306.77 million, compared to PLN 264.22 million in profit a year earlier.
