MZ: Daily number of vaccinations against COVID-19: 17 155, infections: 14 480

The daily number of vaccinations against COVID-19 was 17,155, in total 53,689,500 were administered, the Ministry of Health (MZ) reported. The number of confirmed cases of infection was 14,480.

So far, 107,707,090 doses of the vaccine have been delivered to Poland, the ministry said on the vaccination website.

The number of fully vaccinated individuals is 22,593,936, 11,323,162 with a booster dose and 221,274 with a third dose (immunocompromised).

The ministry also announced today that 14,480 cases of infection, confirmed by positive laboratory tests, have been recorded.

“We have 14,480 (including 1,610 re-infections) confirmed cases of #coronavirus infection from the following voivodships: Mazowieckie (2473), Wielkopolskie (1741), Dolnośląskie (1202), Zachodniopomorskie (1142), Kujawsko-Pomorskie (1014), Lubelskie (1009) , Silesian (999), Pomeranian (916), Lesser Poland (896), Łódzkie (793), Warmian-Masurian (591), Lubuskie (568), Świętokrzyskie (352), Opole (257), Podlasie (254), Podkarpacie ( 166), 107 infections are data without specifying the address, which will be supplemented by the sanitary inspection,” the ministry said on its Twitter profile.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus is 5,851,147 people, 5,207,943 have recovered.

During the last day, over 84,700 coronavirus tests were performed. The total number of samples tested was over 34.7 million, the ministry also said.

According to data from the Ministry of Health this morning, 73,606 people were quarantined, 7,636 people were hospitalized (out of 17,951 beds for COVID-19 patients). 464 ventilators were occupied (out of 1,608 ventilators available in hospitals).
