In February, production at the Dacia and Ford plants in Romania amounted to 44,111 cars, 12 percent more than in February 2021. Of these, 24,878 units were produced by Dacia Automobiles and 19,233 units by Ford.
The two car manufacturers in Romania produced 79,282 cars in the first two months of 2022, 1.9 percent more than in the same period of 2021. Of the total volume, 40,694 units were produced in the Dacia plant in Mioveni and 38,588 units from the Ford plant in Craiova.
The increase in February came after car production fell by 8.4 percent nationally in January.
