Kamiński: There is no reason to expect a smaller influx of refugees in the coming days

There is no reason to believe that the number of refugees crossing the Polish-Ukrainian border will decrease in the coming days, informed Mariusz Kamiński, Minister of Interior and Administration. Since the beginning of the conflict, 1.085 million people have crossed the borders.

“Unfortunately, […] we must acknowledge that there is no reason to believe that this number will decrease in the coming days. Yesterday a record of 142,000 Ukrainian citizens crossed our country’s borders,” Kaminski said during a press conference.

Since the beginning of the war, i.e. on February 24 this year. 1 085,000. refugees from Ukraine went to our country.

Earlier, the government informed that it expected an inflow of around 100,000. refugees a day.
