Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, that is from February 24 this year, the Polish-Ukrainian border has so far exceeded over 453,000 people, the Border Guard informed.
“Yesterday, on March 1, 98,000 people entered Poland from Ukraine. From February 24, #functionsSG cleared over 453,000 people escaping from war-affected Ukraine at border crossings,” the Watch wrote on its Twitter profile.
Representatives of the Polish government expect that in the coming days the border will exceed approx. 100,000. people a day.
