Grand Hotel Bucharest, the former InterContinental Hotel in the Capital, started the process of renovating the building and has co-opted the Bergman Design House studio, according to a hotel statement. Bergman Design House specializes in luxury hotels, but also in residential projects and high-end yachts.
Lucian Marinescu, member of the Board of Directors of the Intercontinental Romania SA Hotel Company, estimates for 2022 an increase of 30 percent for this year.
The company has a budget of EUR 21 million for the renovation of the building and will be completed in 2024.
