Salt Ship Design Poland with a new contract and a larger office in Łużycka Office Park

15 February 2022

Salt Ship Design Poland is the national branch of a Norwegian design studio operating in the maritime sector. The new contract was concluded for 5 years and provides for the enlargement of the space occupied so far to 1,251 sqm. As a result, the company now occupies the entire floor in building B in the Łużycka Office Park complex in Gdynia.

“I am happy with every contract signed with tenants, but cooperation with Salt Ship Design Poland is an exceptional satisfaction for me. The company has been present in our office building for almost 10 years, so we are witnessing its development on the Polish market and consequently growing recruitment needs. Our tenant started in 2012 with 500 sqm, after two years he expanded the office to almost 900 sqm. Therefore, I treat the next contract as a proof of great relations between us, but also a confirmation of the consistently high quality of Łużycka Office Park. Let me remind you that with the opening of this complex, we initiated the market of modern office spaces in the Tri-City years ago and our office buildings are invariably successfully competing with newer projects, thanks to their timeless architecture, reliable technological solutions and professional facility management,” says Sergiusz Gniadecki, CEO of SGPM Property Management, Asset Manager of the Łużycka Office Park complex.

The extension of the contract was also commented by a representative of Salt Ship Design Poland.

“After almost a decade of presence in Gdynia, we are satisfied and used to both the place and the service offered by the owner of Łużycka Office Park. The history of our company is related to the Łużycka Office Park complex, so the sentiment was also important when making decisions. From the beginning, we occupy the office on the same floor, we only increase the area. This is in line with the philosophy of our development: gradual and safe, but still moving forward, despite various disruptions in the industry. We also considered other possibilities of renting the office, but the proposed conditions convinced us to stay in the “current place”. The availability of Tri-City means of transport also had a great influence on the decision, especially the proximity of PKM and SKM stops. The number of parking spaces offered by the lessor is also important,” says Andrzej Rutkowski, Managing Director at Salt Ship Design Poland.
