Dino Polska has started construction of a distribution center in Kaliska in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, worth approx. PLN 130 million net, the company said. The planned total warehouse space of the distribution center will amount to approx. 45,000 sqm.
The estimated capital expenditure will amount to approximately PLN 130 million (net) and will be financed from the company’s own funds and bank loans. The purpose of the new distribution center will be to service the supply of goods to the growing number of Dino stores and to support the further geographical expansion of the network. The Company expects the completion of the investment. will take place at the turn of 2022 and 2023, the company announced.
The investment will consist in the construction and equipment of, inter alia, cold stores, cold stores, temperature-controlled warehouses, dry warehouse and social and office parts with accompanying technical infrastructure, internal roads and parking spaces.
Dino Polska is a leading player in the proximity supermarket segment in Poland, located mainly in the western part of Poland, with an average selling area of approx. 400 m2. The company debuted on the WSE in 2017. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 10,125.82 million in 2020.
