Prague will get an air connection with Montenegro. Air Montenegro will fly twice a week from mid-June to October on the route from Prague’s Václav Havel Airport to Tivat Montenegro, Prague Airport annouced. This is the only line from Prague to Montenegro.
Montenegrin airlines will use the Embraer 195 aircraft with a capacity of 116 seats on the route from Prague to the Adriatic. From June 14, the flights will always run in the afternoon on Tuesday and Saturday in both directions. The flight will last one hour and a half in one direction.
“Montenegro offers everything for a great holiday experience, and we are therefore pleased to be able to offer passengers in the Czech Republic this new direct connection with Air Montenegro,” said Jaroslav Filip, Director of Aviation at Prague Airport.
Václav Havel’s Prague Airport handled almost 4.4 million passengers last year. It is almost a fifth more year-on-year, but still well below the level before the coronavirus pandemic, when in 2019 the airport handled over 17.8 million passengers. Last year, 138 destinations flew from Prague. This year, the airport expects a gradual revival of traffic, according to estimates, it should handle about 8.6 million passengers a year.
