Poland daily number of vaccinations against COVID-19: 78,018, new infections: 46,872

The daily number of vaccinations against COVID-19 was 78,018, with a total of 52,363,064 vaccinations, the Ministry of Health (MZ) reported. The number of new and confirmed cases of infection was 46,872.

So far, 107,707,090 doses of the vaccine have been delivered to Poland, the ministry said on the vaccination website.

The number of fully vaccinated individuals is 21,910,805, 10,515,652 with a booster dose and 213,022 with a third (immunocompromised) booster.

The ministry also announced today that 46,872 new cases of infection, confirmed by positive laboratory tests, have been recorded.

“We have 46 872 (including 5 177 re-infections) confirmed cases of #coronavirus infection from the following voivodships: Mazowieckie (6656), Śląskie (5250), Wielkopolskie (5224), Kujawsko-Pomorskie (4222), Pomeranian (3425), Dolnośląskie (3395) ), Łódź (3381), Małopolska (2797), Lublin (2430), West Pomeranian (2347), Warmian-Masurian (1718), Świętokrzyskie (1319), Podkarpackie (1208), Podlasie (1143), Lubuskie (1084), Opole (1072). 201 infections are data without specifying the address, which will be supplemented by the sanitary inspection,” the ministry said on its Twitter profile.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus is 5,271,016, 4,406,780 recovered.

Over the past day, more than 155.6 thousand were performed, coronavirus tests, the total number of samples tested was over 31.8 million, the ministry also said.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, as of this morning, 557,319 people were quarantined, 18,952 people were hospitalized (out of 30,882 beds for COVID-19 patients). 1,189 ventilators were occupied (out of 2,674 ventilators available in hospitals).
