PSN, which today, in addition to the reconstruction of apartment buildings and apartment and office rentals, is also engaged in large-scale new construction of residential and multifunctional projects, sold 294 units in 2021 worth a total of CZK 1.5 billion and over 800 new or extended leases in approx. CZK 70 million. In the next five years, PSN plans to build 3,000 new apartments in 25 projects with a total investment of over CZK 11 billion. The developer has another CZK 10 billion ready for new acquisitions.
PSN has been operating in the Czech real estate market since 1991. “Despite the ongoing pandemic, our company has grown significantly in the last year, both in terms of the number of employees and new projects and acquisitions. For example, we bought a plot of land after the former Transgas building in Prague or recently the Innogy complex in Brno. In the future, we will increasingly focus on the construction of large, especially residential and multifunctional projects, on which we are now willing and ready to cooperate with other partners. We also want to significantly strengthen the rental housing segment: some of our planned realizations will be intended purely for rent,” says PSN CEO Max Skala, adding, ” Our main goal this year is to continue dynamic development. We want to expand our portfolio as much as possible, in the next 5 years, we are ready to “build CZK 11.3 billion.”
PSN’s forward-looking plan includes the construction of up to 3,000 flats in a total of 25 projects. Acquisitions Director Pavel Citta adds to the company’s plans, “We are constantly looking for other meaningful acquisitions, not only in Prague. We are interested in both upcoming projects and houses intended for reconstruction or land suitable for new construction, not only purely for housing. In the next 5 years, we plan to buy real estate and land for CZK 10 billion.”
Michal Kozdera, PSN’s Chief Financial Officer and HR Director, also confirms this year’s dynamic development goal, “Of course, our plans to further strengthen the team, which now numbers more than a hundred employees, are also related to the company’s growth. Large acquisitions bring interesting opportunities for new colleagues, especially for experienced project managers. However, we are also looking for a colleague in the acquisition department, and we are happy to welcome newcomers to various positions with a passion for the cause. Despite further staff development, however, we will definitely strive to maintain a friendly family atmosphere in the company, which we all greatly appreciate.”
