pom+Deutschland GmbH (pom+), a subsidiary of the Swiss consultancy company pom+Consulting AG, has expanded its management board with the appointment of Benedikt Scholler (39) who will be opening the company’s new office in Berlin as branch manager.
A graduate in engineering, his expertise includes sustainability, ESG and energy, as well as comprehensive consulting skills. At pom+, he will concentrate on developing services related to the circular economy and climate neutrality.
“The connected world of tomorrow calls for smart, sustainable processes in the real estate industry. I am excited to be developing the industry with pom+ and to further establish circular and interdisciplinary thinking,” he says.
Benedikt Scholler joins pom+ from Drees & Sommer in Berlin, where he worked for over ten years, most recently as Branch Manager for Engineering and Integrated Design. After completing studies in environmental and bioengineering in Bayreuth and Dublin, he began his career as a project engineer at VIKA Ingenieur GmbH.
Rebekka Ruppel, CEO of pom+Deutschland, comments: “In Benedikt Scholler, we have gained a committed manager who is an excellent fit in our growth-oriented company. He not only has well-founded technical expertise in the burning issues of our time, such as decarbonisation and the federal government’s net-zero climate goals, ESG, taxonomy and green finance, but also brings a strong networking structure and the ‘hands-on’ mentality that is typical of pom+.”
