InPost increased the number of delivered parcels by 71% y / y to 180.3 million in Q4 2021

InPost delivered 180.3 million parcels in the fourth quarter of 2021, which means an increase by 71% per annum, of which 126.6 million related to the Polish market (+ 21% y / y) , and 53.7 million foreign markets (compared to 1 million a year earlier), the company announced. Throughout the year, the company delivered 517.6 million parcels (+ 67% y / y).

“In line with our forecasts, we delivered 180 million shipments in the fourth quarter, 71% more y / y in the reported terms, which was a record in our markets. We also continued the excellent development of key initiatives that will support our long-term development,” said CEO Rafał Brzoska.

Throughout the year, the company delivered 517.6 million parcels (+ 67% y / y), including 424.3 million in Poland (+ 38% y / y) and 93.3 million in other countries (2.2 million a year earlier ). In Poland, 354.8 million parcels went to Paczkomaty, and 69.5 million to the customer’s home.

“During 2021, we significantly accelerated the expansion of the network in Poland. We ended the year with over 16.4 thousand parcel lockers with 2.4 million lockers, giving over 56% of consumers access to a parcel locker within 7 minutes, compared to 50% at the end of 2020,” Brzoska also said.

InPost is a delivery platform for e-commerce. Established in 1999 by Rafał Brzoska in Poland, InPost has a network of parcel lockers in Poland, Great Britain and Italy, and also provides courier and fullfilment services for e-commerce sellers in Poland. In 2020, InPost handled 249 million parcels via Paczkomaty, cooperating with over 26,000 e-sellers. The company’s mobile application – InPost Mobile has over 6 million active users. In January 2021, InPost made its debut on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange.
