The largest Czech residential builder, Central Group, has acquired more than 100,000 square meters of new land worth over CZK 2.5 billion in the metropolis this year. The main major acquisition was the purchase of brownfields in Prague 3 in Jarov and at Stromovka Park in Prague 6 – Bubeneč. The investor bought the land in a total of four locations in Prague. In addition to Jarov and Bubeneč, it will also build over 2,000 new flats in Hloubětín and Vysočany in Prague 9. In the coming years.
Most of the funds that the company set aside for this year for investments in new land went to the purchase of two brownfields in Prague 3, Jarov. The Central Group acquired the first part of almost 15,000 square meters in June this year. By purchasing the neighboring area between Květinková and Na Jarově streets, he has now doubled the area.

This is our third large location in Prague 3, where we would like to offer quality and affordable housing and thus complement our other nearby projects – the Park District, which offers above-standard housing, and the Nový Žižkov Center, where we plan to offer rental housing,” Central Group founder and head Dušan Kunovský says of this year’s largest acquisition.
