The construction works of Central Point have been officially completed. The flagship project of Belgian developer Immobel has obtained an occupancy permit.
The new tower, whose construction began in April 2018, is located in the very centre of Warsaw, near one of the city’s most important junctions – at the corner of Marszałkowska and Świętokrzyska streets. Due to the unique location just above the intersection of the two metro lines, the proximity of numerous tram and bus stops, as well as the close vicinity to the Central Railway Station, the building has been classified as one of the best located towers in Warsaw. Both the employees and the business clients will have convenient access to any part of the city.
“We have officially finished the construction work. Two years of intense work are behind us. We end the project as intended with regard to the deadline, of which I am extremely proud. Many wonderful people were involved in this process, and they managed all its challenges splendidly, and these – as we are all aware – arised on numerous occasions during the pandemic. In the vein of sustainability, which is an integral part of our company’s strategy and values, we have succeeded in creating a place that aims at setting new trends and at the same time puts people at its center creating an experience that is conducive for innovation and collaboration,” said Chief Commercial Officer of Immobel Poland, Richard Aboo.
The building covering almost 20,000 sqm was designed by Kazimierski and Ryba studio in cooperation with Arquitectonica firm in accordance with the highest environmental standards, as confirmed by the BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level. The materials from the construction site have been recycled in 95%. Inside the building there are many environment-friendly solutions created with the tenants’ convenience in mind, such as: modern and energy-efficient lighting systems; high-speed lifts; the access to the daylight in almost 90% of the building’s surface; well thought-out infrastructure for the cyclists together with bicycle stands, changing rooms, and showers; charging points for electric vehicles and many more. Aside from the office space of the highest quality, there are also green terraces and spacious modern lobby at the tenants’ disposal.
