Mayland, developer and manager of retail facilities in Poland, announced that it has signed a contract with another tenant in Nowy Fort Wola. The Zdrofit chain will be present on two levels of the renovated center, occupying a total area of 1,185 sqm. Opening of a modernized shopping center in Warsaw at Połczyńska Street scheduled for 2022.
Work on the commercialization of the facility has clearly accelerated in recent weeks. In mid-October, Mayland announced that Kaufland will become the main food operator of the facility, which will lease over 3,000 sqm.
“Fort Wola is to be a center that addresses its offer especially to local residents and people who work in the vicinity. Thanks to its excellent location in the most dynamically developing business district in Poland, it offers tenants access to over 60 thousand. people working or living in the immediate area. Zdrofit has a very strong position in Warsaw and an excellent sense of location. We believe that our cooperation will contribute to the strengthening of both our partner and the refreshed Fort Wola itself,” says Grzegorz Latała, commercialization director and board member of Mayland Real Estate.
Intensive modernization works are currently underway in Nowy Fort Wola. The goal is to transform the existing 1st generation shopping center into a convenient place for everyday shopping. Intensive negotiations are also underway with other entities that want to open their branches as part of the refurbished facility.
“The interest of potential tenants is high. More talks are underway and we should announce more contracts soon. What makes us particularly happy – we are also returning to companies that were present in the previous version of the facility, which know and appreciate this location “- adds Grzegorz Latała.
The owner of the facility Mayland Real Estate assumes that Nowy Fort Wola will be a center primarily for clients from the immediate vicinity, which is related to the very large potential of the center in the so-called “5-minute zone”.
