Croatian Infobip Group, a global cloud communications platform company for customer engagement has entered into a definitive agreement to take over US VoIP provider Peerless Network, and has secured additional funding of EUR 431 million.
The deal is expected to complete upon receipt of regulatory approvals in 2022. Infobip did not disclose the value of the transaction.
This is the fourth Infobip acquisition in less than a year, after the acquisition of US messaging heavyweight OpenMarket, the developer Shift Conference franchise, and the world’s number one SMS firewall provider, Anam.
