16 October 2021

After the auditing company had already signed a lease for 31,000 sqm in the OPTINEO in March 2020, the company has secured the top floor of the property developed by WÖHR + BAUER together with the Maltz family.

“We are pleased about the vote of confidence from KPMG in these times of change. In the current demanding environment in the industry, the qualities of our concept and the good cooperation with our experienced team come into their own. By renting the exclusive 16th floor, KPMG recognized the plus points of the OPTINEO: the fantastic location in a future-proof location as well as an efficient and innovative building concept,” says Oliver Vogt, member of the WÖHR + BAUER management.

“We want to create a campus for our employees and clients in a central location in the Werksviertel, which is characterized by excellent transport links and an overall modern and high-quality environment. With this additional rental, we secure another important space that will serve the interactive collaboration both within our teams and with our clients. We appreciate the cooperation with WÖHR + BAUER, because with them we have found the ideal partner for not only architecturally attractive, but also future-oriented, sustainable office building,” says Thomas Löhmer, Head of Infrastructure at KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft.

The construction site for the OPTINEO is running without delays despite Corona and the tense situation on the raw material markets. After more than two years of cooperation on the development of this outstanding headquarters, KPMG’s decision is a special recognition: “Against the background of the extensive, joint planning, the additional investment by KPMG AG is very important to us. The expansion of the rental space proves the high level of satisfaction with our previous services ”, says Vogt. Including access areas and part of the roof terraces, the floor now rented covers around 940 sqm. This gives KPMG AG a total area of around 32,000 sqm.
