The Europe-wide project developer UBM Development is strengthening its team in Hamburg. Frank Hermanns, a graduate engineer, will take over the management of the branch office as of October 01, 2021. The management is gaining a proven expert with the 46-year-old, who has over 18 years of professional experience in the real estate market (including at ECE and Edge Technologies) and has been professionally active in Hamburg for many years. The trained architect was most recently active in the management of the Hamburg project developer MAGNA Real Estate AG.

A particular focus within his area of responsibility will be the development of UBMās future non-profit foundation. It will bear the name āSmart Building Innovation Foundationā (SBIF) and is to be launched during the fourth quarter of this year. Its goal will be to develop innovative solutions for smart buildings together with the foundationās partners from industry, business, the investment sector, tenants and financial service providers.
