KanAm Grund Group buys two buildings in the heart of Paris

The KanAm Grund Group has acquired two properties in the center of Paris for a new institutional mandate. Situated on the Rue Hanovre not far from the “Opéra”, one of the buildings was constructed around 1900 in the Haussman style and extends to a net rental area of 2,226 sqm of mixed uses over basement, ground and 6 upper floors. The building was most recently renovated in 2021. The second building, which was also built during the Wilhelminian era, is also located in the Opéra submarket of the CBD on Rue Athènes. 9 Athènes is rented on a long-term basis by the Rennes School of Business. The French business school is one of the top 15 in France and one of the so-called Grande Ecole for economics. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

For institutional investors, the Frankfurt-based KanAm Grund Group now offers separate account deals as well as eight special real estate funds and is continuously expanding its portfolios. Depending on the investor`s strategy, the KanAm Grund Group offers investments primarily in office and logistics uses in Germany, Europe and North America. In the case of special real estate funds for institutional investors, the value add and development risk classes can also be added or specifically searched for, depending on the wishes and risk profile of the investors. The customers of this KanAm Grund Group fund family include banks with their Depot A investments, companies and church assets, pension and pension funds as well as high net worth family assets. In addition to the special real estate funds, the KanAm Grund Group also offers its expertise to institutional investors for “separate accounts” deals or through KanAm Grund Real Asset Management (REAM) asset management services for individual large properties or real estate portfolios.
