The class A office space delivered in 2021 in Cluj-Napoca will be 85 percent lower compared to the level registered last year, which led to a drastic reduction of office space available for rent, according to the real estate consulting company, SVN Romania.
Thus, approximately 3,200 sqm of modern offices were delivered this year in Cluj-Napoca, compared to 20,500 sqm delivered last year, according to the SVN Romania report. In this context, the vacancy rate of class A offices in Cluj – Napoca has dropped to below 2 percent at present, compared to 5 percent last year and 6.3 percent in 2019.
Currently, only 5,000 sqm of modern offices are under construction, with the estimated delivery time for 2023. In addition, a 7,000 sqm building is currently being completed in red and could be delivered in 2022.
