Libra Internet Bank attracted EUR 27.8 million from investors through a private bond placement. This amount has the role to support the bank’s development plans, focused on the niche strategy and the orientation towards new digital technologies in banking.
The operation was brokered by Raiffeisen Bank and Alpha Bank Romania, with legal assistance provided to the issuer by the international law firm CMS.
“The success of this investment is clear evidence of investor confidence in our development plans. The fact that we are a strong and dynamic bank, with a great capacity for development coming from a solid, clear and sustainable strategy, is the key to this success. We thank the investors and assure them that this important moment motivates us to become even better,” said Emil Bituleanu, General Manager of Libra Internet Bank.
