The number of companies deregistered nationwide increased by 34.14 percent in the first seven months of 2021, compared to the same period last year, to 37,667 deregistrations, according to statistics from the National Office of the Trade Register (ONRC).
Most deregistrations were registered in Bucharest – 6,048 and in TimiÅŸ counties – 1,781, Cluj – 1,636 and ConstanÅ£a – 1,603. At the opposite pole, the fewest erasures were recorded in the counties of IalomiÅ£a – 289, CălăraÅŸi – 321 and Teleorman – 334.
In July 2021, 5,102 deregistrations of companies were recorded, most of them in Bucharest – 895.
