800 apartments planned at the old URSUS Mechanical Works in Warsaw

23 June 2021

The Fabrica Ursus estate, the construction of which started on June 15, will be a kind of combination of the future and the past, in an innovative project by Adam Wagner from PBPA Projekt. In the area intended for the construction of the investment, there are remains of the buildings of the legendary URSUS Mechanical Works, which are under the protection of the conservator of monuments. Aurec Home, in line with the European architectural trend, undertakes the revitalization of historic buildings and turn them into a recreational and service area in the newly created industrial estate.

On a plot of 2.5 ha, the developer plans to build 800 apartments, ranging in size from 35 to 100 sqm, located in 6-7-storey residential buildings. The expected commissioning date for the investment is 2027, while the first stage is expected to be completed in May 2023. Aurec Home has planned a total of 5 construction stages.
Future residents, in addition to the perfect location near the railway station, which can be reached to the center in several minutes, will have at their disposal an extensive gastronomic, commercial and service infrastructure. The utility area will be built in the old gate and the post-factory hall in the form of a magnificent patio.
