The turnover of Dedeman, the largest entrepreneurial business on the local market and the one that dominates the DIY market, rose by 10.5 percent in 2020 compared to 2019, to RON 9.082 billion. However, the company’s profit rose even faster, by 28 percent to RON 1.64 billion.
Dedeman opened a new store in April in the city of Sfântu Gheorghe, near the shopping center recently opened by Prime Kapital – Sepsi Value Center. The new store has a built area of approximately 9,500 sqm and is built on a plot with a total area of over 21,500 sqm, and the value of the investment amounts to EUR 11.5 million. The next Dedeman store that will open its doors this year will be the one in Ploieşti – Blejoi.
