Student Depot, the largest network of private dormitories in Poland, despite the pandemic, is popular among students who value comfort, individual approach, the opportunity to experience student life and safety. More than half of the places for the new academic year have already been booked. Student Depot plans further, dynamic development of the network.
The pandemic in no way verified the plans of Student Depot, which increased its portfolio to 2.5 thousand. accommodation places in all major academic centers in the country – Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań, Lublin, Łódź and Gdańsk. Last year, the company also purchased two plots of land for further investments in Warsaw and Kraków and, as planned, opened a dormitory from the Premium offer in Gdańsk. During the pandemic, the dormitories from the Student Depot portfolio recorded almost 100% occupancy.
“The dynamic development of Student Depot is possible thanks to our know-how in the management of this type of investments and cooperation with international partners. The private student dormitory sector in Poland has so far developed steadily, becoming also an attractive market for investments. It is worth paying attention to such features of this market as the shortage of beds in dormitories, a large population of students (about 1.29 million) and a successively growing number of foreign students, which, combined with the high standard of our real estate, guarantees further dynamic development,” said Marek Obuchowicz, Partner at Griffin Real Estate responsible for the development of the Student Depot platform.
“At Student Depot, we believe that studies are the best time in life, which is why we offer our students not only comfortable conditions for peaceful learning, but also integration with people from various faculties and from other countries, which was very much desired by students especially in the pandemic. At the same time, safety remains our priority – trained staff, taking care of students, especially in times of pandemics, regular disinfection of space, but also 24-hour security – all of this can be counted on by the residents of our dormitories,” emphasizes Jolanta Bubel, President of Student Depot.
More than half of the places in the Student Depot dormitories have been reserved for the next academic year, and some facilities already have the last vacancies. Students who want to live in the Student Depot dormitory should therefore hurry, as the network expects full occupancy in a few weeks.
Dormitories offer, among others fully furnished apartments with a private bathroom and a large kitchenette, or specially designed common spaces, such as gyms, chill zones, quiet study rooms, coworking spaces, and even multimedia spaces or gaming rooms. The common parts of the dormitories from the Student Depot offer are very modern, with lots of greenery, and the well-thought-out layouts and bright colors of the apartments will make you feel at home here.
Student Depot is 2.5 thousand. beds in six dormitories across the country. By 2025, another 7.5 thousand will be made available. beds.
