The Panattoni industrial complex in Pavlov is full, the last space has been filled by the Seqoy publishing house, which it will use to store books and comics. The developer is preparing other projects in Central Bohemia, the locations will be specified later, Michael Süss told ČTK today on behalf of the company.
“Larger and more modern premises will help us maximize efficiency in the storage and distribution of books and commissions. Top logistics technologies will improve orientation in the warehouse, increase the speed of order processing and the actual search for goods using barcodes,” said Seqoy CEO Jiří Pavlovský.
According to Pavel Sovička, Panattoni’s director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, it turned out that business partners consider it an advantage to locate the complex near Prague and the international airport, where there is also a good connection to motorways. “I am looking forward to using the experience gained elsewhere in the future,” Sovička added.
Panattoni built and occupied the 130,000 square meter zone near Pavlov over five years. The logistics company DSV became the first tenant, and the premises also serve, for example, the Panalpina logistics center and the ViaPharma pharmaceutical distributor center. Recently, a draw for animals was created here, which will help to improve the environment in the locality and create living conditions for birds, amphibians and insects.
Near Pavlov is the industrial zone near Dobrovíz, where Panattoni Europe has built a distribution center for the American online store Amazon, which has been operating since 2015.
