The change in the real estate market is confirmed by a new trend in the purchase of apartments. Along with the arrival of spring, the demand for housing units on the ground floor with front gardens has increased, which also provides sufficient privacy. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic thus continues to penetrate the shopping behavior of those interested in housing. Thanks to this, projects with the possibility of separate outdoor relaxation in the form of front gardens or terraces are advantageous. For example, in the Top Estates Group’s Barrandez-vous project in Prague, these apartments are now selling the fastest, accounting for 70% of all apartments sold this year.
“We started observing the trend of growing interest in larger apartments with the possibility of private outdoor relaxation last year, but now the numbers are even more convincing. The coronavirus pandemic is still ongoing, and people want to be better prepared for such situations. It is safety and the possibility of isolated relaxation outside as well that are the main topics to which our clients’ questions are directed, ”says Petr Teplý, co-founder of Top Estates.
“Plenty of greenery, connection with nature and privacy has always been very important for us in our projects. Now it turns out that this is actually a fairly timeless solution with regard to the current situation. Specifically with the Barrandez-vous project, apartments with front gardens are selling really fast and we hope that after the completion of the project there will also be neighborhood meetings, for which the immediate vicinity of the project and a courtyard with a large park are designed, “adds Dušan Dvořák, co-founder of Top Estates.
One of the main goals of the project is to offer an intensive connection with nature. Therefore, almost every apartment unit has its own outdoor space for relaxation – balcony, terrace or front garden. The apartments will offer their future owners above-standard living comfort compared to competing projects, including aluminum windows, housing units will have three-layer wooden floors, modern interior elements, lowered wider window sills for seating and an extraordinary selection of bathroom standards. The construction of the Barrandez-vous residential project in Prague 5 continues according to schedule and the rough construction will be completed this year.
