The Czech investment group ICP has completed two housing projects in Florida in the USA for approximately CZK 1.1 billion. These are the Solera projects at Palm Beach Gardens and Seaward Landing on the Florida Key Islands. The group entered the USA in 2018.
“The pandemic for a year has affected the functioning of people and businesses in the US less than in most of Europe. Construction work slowed only slightly last year, otherwise projects went according to plan. Last year, what was happening intensified the existing trend of moving people from major cities on the East Coast. to Florida, and it’s far from just people of retirement age, “said the owner of the group, Ondřej David.
The ICP group entered the Solera project for more than 860 million crowns in the spring of 2020 in cooperation with an American partner, the development company Eastwind Development. The Czech ICP holds a total share of 80 percent here. The Seaward Landing project for 270 million crowns is owned by ICP together with the Swedish group Index Invest.
ICP has been investing in the USA since 2018, when it bought the already functioning Belcan Property office building in West Palm Beach for more than half a billion crowns.
ICP is an investment group based in the Czech Republic and with activities in the markets of Central Europe and the USA. Its founder and owner is Ondřej David, the executive director is Marek Klaus. The group specializes mainly in housing and administrative projects. In addition to real estate, the ICP group also includes other companies, such as Window Holding or Optika Čivice.
