The development company Domoplan has started the construction of the Pekárenský dvůr residence in Zábrdovice, Brno. The name derives from the long history of bakeries in Cejl and also wants to be inspired by the industrial style. With a cost of CZK 1.5 billion and almost 250 apartments, it is the company’s largest project to date. It is to be completed in the second half of 2023, the developer said,.
The bakery yard will offer in almost four houses almost 250 flats of various sizes, 222 parking spaces, three so-called townhouses, or town houses with their own garden, or a community center with a library. The developer also counts on a park and playgrounds. On the top floor of the residence is designed luxury penthouse with a total area of over 260 sqm. “We want to bring a new concept of living, in which people will have enough privacy, but also a lot of space and opportunities to spend time together,” said Domoplan founder Tomáš Vavřík.
According to the pekarenskydvur.cz website, smaller flats with an area of 23.7 sqm will cost CZK 2.6 million, the most expensive one with an area of 108.5 sqm costs CZK 10.7 million. The price of the penthouse on the top floor is provided by the developer on request. The townhouse will cost about CZK 7.5 million.
All facades of the houses will have brick cladding, green roofs and aluminum windows with a metal grille of a factory character. “Our goal is to create a new modern residential area, which will return this location to its original residential function and which will correspond to the existing type of development with the structure of the building.
Domoplan is also building a multifunctional house with 54 flats in the locality called Rezidence Hvězdová, which is to be completed by the end of this year. In 2017, they built the Domino apartment building with 20 apartments, four studios and two business units in the Brno Bronx.
