Apartmets prices registered a slightly negative trend in February. The national average required for an apartment decreased by 0.2 percent. According to imobiliare.ro, in February the average amount requested at national level for an apartment decreased from EUR 1,361 to EUR 1,358 per sqm. The evolution of prices was, instead, positive in Brasov, Constanta and Timisoara.
In Bucharest, apartment prices fell by 1.2 percent last month, compared to January. However, the two market segments analyzed had a different evolution: the old apartments appreciated by 2 percent, while the newly built housing units registered a decline of 3.4 percent.
