Demand for homes tripled in the last year

9 March 2021

The offer in the residential segment of houses is preparing for growth, indicated by the large number of lands that are traded for this purpose. Housing budgets are rising, and people are more interested in the concept of smart homes. This is the current residential market, according to real estate consultants, who say that it is premature to outline major changes in a single year, since the onset of the pandemic.

“Demand for homes has tripled, but demand for apartments continues to dominate the residential landscape, as they are closer to city facilities and business areas, as well as transportation infrastructure,” said Daniel Tudor, CEO and founder of The Concept Real Estate Advisers. He adds that more land is being traded for house projects, but few projects have started, due to delays caused by utilities and urban planning regulations.
