NEPI Rockcastle collected rents in Romania last year of EUR 133 million, down 17 percent compared to 2019, from EUR 160.3 million. At group level, the decrease in rental revenues is 19.4 percent. Regarding the profit registered on the Romanian market, it decreased by 94.5 percent, according to the data from the company’s financial report.
Part of this decrease is due to the sale in August of the portfolio of office buildings in Romania to AFI Europe. Romania is among the few countries in which NEPI Rockcastle made a profit in 2020, even if in decline. Only in Croatia and Lithuania there was a profit, and at group level, NEPI Rockcastle marks a loss before taxes of EUR 202 million.
