Newly concluded or extended leases of the industrial developer Prologis in the Czech Republic increased by 60 percent year-on-year to 408,000 sqm last year. The share of vacant halls and warehouses rose by 1.6 percentage points year-on-year to 5.5 percent.
“The logistics real estate segment has proven its resilience and we continue to focus on providing tailor-made warehousing solutions or innovative services that can help our customers ‘businesses,” said Paweł Sapek, Prologis’ Director for Central Europe.
According to data from the Industrial Research Forum (IRF), last year the total vacancy of industrial and logistics buildings in the Czech Republic rose by 0.1 percentage point year on year to 4.2 percent. The lowest was in Prague and its surroundings, at 2.2 percent.
