Ghelamco has started preparations for the construction of The Bridge office building in Warsaw

Ghelamco has started preparations for the construction of The Bridge skyscraper at the intersection of Towarowa and Grzybowska streets in Warsaw, the developer said. The building will offer 47,000 sqm of office space on 40 floors. The Bridge is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

The Bridge is Ghelamco’s newest project. The 174-meter high skyscraper will be erected next to the former seat of the Bellona publishing house. Both buildings will be connected by a common lobby, creating an unprecedented composition on the Polish market. The architectural concept of the skyscraper was developed by the Dutch studio UNStudio in cooperation with the Polish Belgian Architecture Studio Projekt.

The Bridge will offer 47 thousand. m2 of the highest class office space. The 40-story building will be equipped with approximately 280 parking spaces and amenities for cyclists (147 spaces, lockers and showers are provided for them). It will also have the most modern technical and pro-ecological solutions. The building will include chargers for electric cars and a special parking lot for electric two-wheelers (bicycles and scooters) with 20 charging places. It will also implement an operating system (developed by Ghelamco), allowing for effective management of access control and solutions increasing its security in the event of an epidemic (including virucidal UV lamps, which will be placed in elevators and air handling units). The building will be certified in the WELL and BREEAM systems – and Green Building Standard. It will also have the “Object without barriers” certificate, listed.

“Designed by an internationally recognized studio, The Bridge building will combine the future with the past, offering tenants a unique atmosphere, an atmosphere that cannot be found in any skyscraper in Warsaw,” said Jarosław Zagórski, commercial and development director.
