Skyliner granted occupancy permit in Warsaw

21 January 2021

Skyliner, one of the highest office buildings in Warsaw belonging to office developer Karimpol, has obtained an occupancy permit. The skyscraper designed by APA Wojciechowski also received an official address – 67 Prosta Street. Tenants will start moving into the building in the first half of 2021. Construction works of Skyliner started at the end of 2017 and took 36 months. The skyscraper towering over Warsaw’s Wola district is 195 meters high and offers 45,000 sqm of office space spread over 30 floors. Inside, there will be also retail premises, service points and restaurants, which will be available both to the tenants of the building and to Warsaw inhabitants. In total, nearly 49,000 sqm of space.

“For the General Contractor of Skyliner, the decision on obtaining the occupancy permit is not only the culmination of the engineers’ efforts and emotions accompanying the construction of the building, but it is primarily the victory in a joint race – with time, technological conditions, weather, schedule, and last year also with the epidemic. Getting the permit is a confirmation for us that we have duly done our job,” said Karol Puszerkiewicz, Skyliner contract director at Warbud S.A. “The investor was demanding, and the building was really technically difficult, which makes us even more happy that we managed to meet the client’s expectations and at the same time, what is especially important for us, to build this skyscraper safely. It was a unique experience for us,” added Puszerkiewicz.
