Budimex Nieruchomości, a subsidiary of Budimex, concluded 1,672 preliminary agreements for the sale of premises in 2020, compared to 1,655 a year earlier. Number of concluded notarial contracts for the transfer of ownership of the premises last year was 1,286 versus 1,534 a year earlier, the company said.
In the fourth quarter of 2020 alone, the company concluded 473 preliminary agreements for the sale of a dwelling, compared to 369 agreements concluded in the fourth quarter of 2019. In turn, the number of notarial agreements for the transfer of ownership of a dwelling in the fourth quarter of 2020 was 199, compared to 305 contracts concluded in the fourth quarter of 2019.
“The very good result of the pre-sale of apartments in 2020 is the result of the company’s wide residential offer and the structural demand for apartments in larger cities. The number of signed notarial deeds is in line with the company’s handover schedule. At the same time, both values indicate a positive mood among consumers” stated in the release.
Budimex has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1995. Its strategic investor is the Spanish company Ferrovial. In 2019, it had PLN 7.57 billion of consolidated revenues.
