CNB’s foreign exchange reserves fell to Euro 135.07 billion in December

The foreign exchange reserves of the Czech National Bank (CNB) fell to EURO 135.07 billion month-on-month at the end of December. Compared to November, they decreased by about EURO 600 million. They rose by 1.67 billion euros year on year. Reserves in koruna also fell month on month and rose year on year. In dollars, they increased year-on-year and month-on-month. This follows from preliminary data published today by the CNB.

In koruna terms, foreign exchange reserves amounted to approximately CZK 3.545 trillion at the end of December. Compared to the previous month, they were 8.3 billion lower, and compared to last December, on the contrary, 155.2 billion crowns higher. In dollars, foreign exchange reserves rose by about 3.2 billion month on month to $ 165.76 billion. They increased $ 15.9 billion year over year.
