The volume of housing whose construction was completed in Bucharest in the first nine months of 2020 exceeds by almost 10% the number of homes delivered in in the whole 2019, when an absolute record of the last three decades was set, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS) .
The positive evolution also characterises the volume of housing delivered in the localities around Bucharest, more precisely in Ilfov County, where the result of the first 9 months shows an increase of almost 17% compared to the similar period of the previous year.
It is important to mention that the realisation of a project lasts at least a year, so everything that was finished in the first 9 months of 2020 are projects started in 2019, when it was not known that a health crisis would come.
