Tauron has signed a contract with two foreign partners to prepare the construction of wind farms on the Baltic Sea. Tauron inked the accord with OW Offshore, a company owned by EDP Renovaveis, a Portuguese wind energy company, and Engie, a French power group. According to the contract, Tauron will acquire a 50 percent stake in the OW companies that keep Baltic wind farms in their portfolios. On the other hand, OW will be seeking to acquire a 50 percent stake in Tauron’s companies that own Baltic wind farm schemes.
